This term I regis in 01355202 Fundamental English Writing so I will blog the knowledge of every class in my blog. The first class is introduction of the course. My teacher’s name is Mr. Anthony Sweetapple and his nickname is Tony. Tony describe course syllabus and learning assessment that I think his accent and sound make me listen easier.
The chairs in the room are arranged in a half of circle, thus Tony can see everybody and walk to them easier. Amount of student is 30 and almost students are in year four.I know many people here because they are from engineering faculty like me.
The first game that Tony let us play is separating a group of words. “teacher zoo circus grass giraffe student laughter clown university lesson games long neck”
group 1 : teacher, student, lesson, university
group 2 : zoo, giraffe, grass, long neck
group 3 : circus, clown, laughter, games
After the game, Tony let us take some exercise about write the questions and the answers of personal information. I think this exercises are not hard, but They have a little thing that sometimes we miss it.
I’m and We’re are written in short from that not allowed in writing. We have to use “I am” and “We are”. It means that I have to write a long from and not write a acronym.
Practice: Write both the questions and the answers to the following cues.

What is your name?
My name is Kritiya Sangnitidaj.
b. What / nickname?
What is your nickname?
My nickname is Off.
c. What / do ?
What do you do?
I am a student.
d. Where / born?
Where were you born?
I was born in Bangkok.
e. When / born?
When were you born?
I was born on 22 September 1987.
f. Where / live?
Where do you live?
I live in Bangkok.
If you close the answer and do this by yourself, you can find that it is not hard. Anyway be careful about how to use born+preposition , live+preposition.

born + on + date
born + in + year, month
live + in + city
live+ at + address
